My wife, Allison, and I are long-time residents of Athens, Alabama and have been married since 1969. We have three daughters (the oldest is deceased) and eleven grandchildren. Throughout my life, I’ve had three different careers. I was a teacher and basketball coach for 15 years — coaching the team to a State Championship title in 1976. I was also a tool and die maker at General Motors before I began my nearly 30 year-career in the financial industry.
I’m active in my community through several different avenues: I’m Chairman of Historical Commission, Chairman of Athens Storytelling Festival, active on the Limestone County School Advisory Board, Rotarian, and serve as an Elder at Marion Street Church of Christ where I do mission work to South Mexico, State of Chiapas.
Preparing for that next step in life isn’t always easy. My combination of experience, professionalism and access to a wide variety of products and services can help you meet your financial goals, estate strategies and insurance needs. Whether your goals include preparing for milestone life events like retirement or college, or whether you’re simply looking for life, disability income or long-term care insurance protection, I promise you a new level of attention, insight and capability.
