Mike Prokop
The beginning of my professional development started on the baseball field. I played at Kennesaw State University and went on to play three professional seasons in the New York Mets minor league system. While I gave up my baseball career years ago, I still exercise the values I learned from the sport—especially the power of team building.
Given my sports background people ask how I ended up in the world of financial services. It’s a natural extension of my experience in professional baseball. As Vice President of Sales, I strive to build high performing teams and to coach others in achieving their maximum potential.
My objective is to help people realize their potential and work towards meeting that potential — becoming more successful than they ever thought possible. I aim to provide the support and knowledge that is critical in surpassing the expectations that people hold for themselves. I stand for the opportunity to lead with integrity, honesty and enthusiasm. I strive to leave a significant impact on everyone I meet, and to end each day with an exclamation point!
I also spend my time advocating for children and families at risk with the TN Alliance for Kids and coordinating blood drives for the American Red Cross.
Supporting a culture of philanthropy is how I get to make the greatest impact. That’s also what sets us apart at Strategic Financial Partners. We’re about making a difference in people’s lives—from our advisors to our clients. Contact me today to explore opportunities to join our high-performing team.
