Darrel Sumner

Darrel Sumner brings 30 years of experience consulting with employer groups on design, funding, analysis, enrollment/communication and administration of employee health and welfare benefit plans.
Before joining Strategic Financial Partners in 1999, Darrel enjoyed a successful career as a Senior Group Sales Representative with a leading group Insurance carrier. He has served on field advisory committees for a number of national and international life, health and disability insurance companies. Darrel graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Memphis in 1993 as a student-athlete on The U of M Tiger baseball team 1991-1993.
Darrel and his Bride of 31 years live in Collierville, TN and are active in their church family at Living Hope Church and have four adult children and two grandchildren.
Lauren Hamsley
Business Client Success Manager
In her role as Benefits Client Success Manager, Lauren oversees proposal, onboarding, enrollment, ongoing administration and renewal process for employer group health and welfare benefit plans and serves as day-to-day point of contact to ensure a great client experience.
Prior to joining the SFP Benefits team, Lauren was the General Manager for an Audio-Visual company based in Memphis. Lauren graduated from Tennessee Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in English and Youth Ministry.
Lauren is a long-time resident of Memphis and currently resides in Collierville, TN. She is very active at her church helping to coordinate the Worship and Tech team. She enjoys cooking, baking, reading, traveling, hiking, sporting events (Go Grizzlies, Tigers, Colts, and Blues) and spending time with friends and family exploring restaurants and coffee shops.
