Born and raised in Memphis, TN, I attended Evangelical Christian School (ECS) where I was all-state in football and baseball.  From ECS, I was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the MLB draft but chose to attend the University of Memphis on a baseball scholarship.  I graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management.  In 2004, I was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels which was the beginning of a five-year professional baseball career with the Angels.

Today, I’m President of SFP Sports, a division of Strategic Financial Partners which provides strategic wealth protection and development for coaches and professional athletes.
